Notice to Customers

To all Rusk Rural WSC customers                       January 26, 2022

RRWSC has been lenient on Locking meters due to non-payment for the past months. We understand that some customers are not receiving their bill in the mail(Not due to RRWSC mailing them out) Bills are mailed out at the end of every month on or around the 27-29 of every month and is due generally on the 15 of every month unless that falls on a weekend(the due date is printed on the bill) the bill becomes delinquent on the 16th of every month and the last day to pay is normally on the 25th of the month (printed on the second notice mailed out)and meters are to be locked on the 26th of the month ( that day is also printed on the second notice as a message).

Beginning February 1,2022 RRWSC will resume with normal policies of locking meters- if the bill is not paid by the 25th of the month the meter will be locked and a $50.00 lock fee will be added to the account. Not receiving a bill in the mail is no excuse for nonpayment, if you do not receive your bill in the mail you can call the office and get the amount that is owed. We send out first and second notices. Our office is still closed due to Covid but RRWSC does have a night drop box- cash(envelope) check and money order can be dropped off, also you can pay your bill online at ruskruralwsc.com or by phone at 1-844-653-2257 with a credit/debit card- a 4% convenience fee of the amount you are paying will be added to the charge, also RRWSC does offer automatic draft. If you do have a issue with not being able to pay your bill before the disconnect date you can call the office and speak with the office manager or general manager about the matter.
